BioOnce upon a time, a kind and hard-working nanny took a job with a seemingly normal family. That job turned into hell on earth. Her first Christmas with that family, in recognition of her hard work, long hours, and extraordinary patience with bizzare requests, she was presented with a purse from the remainders bin at Dillard's.
That purse was so astoundingly unattractive that our heroine would never ever ever actually use it. She was rather annoyed that her Christmas present was so hideous, but, brave and inventive soul that she is, she decided the purse, henceforth known as "UglyBag", should have a chance to travel the world, and meet lots of other nannies and kids.
UglyBag set out from Kansas City in January 2006, and so far has visited Boston, the Virgin Islands, Atlanta, NH, California, Pittsburgh, NYC several times, took a cruise, the Netherlands, Seattle, NYC again, and San Francisco...
